On June 17, the evening before the conference starts, we welcome you with a complimentary barbecue at the Hafenmeister Docks Beach Bar, right at the beautiful river Saale. Feel at home right away and get to know each other, with cold drinks, hot food directly from the grill and interesting conversations.

Coffee & Lunch Breaks

How many longstanding business relationships were formed over a cup of coffee or tea? Take a break from our conference and meet up with other likeminded visitors and speakers during several complimentary Coffe & Lunch Breaks on June 18 and 19, with snacks, coffee and a sumptuous buffet.

Nightwatch’s Walk

Follow in the footsteps of George Frideric Handel and get to know the beautiful city of Halle during a rustic guided tour through the city’s historic old town on the evening of June 18.

Micro Brewery „Hallesches Brauhaus“

Round off the first day of the conference while feasting and making friends over a jug of home-brewed beer in the Hallesches Brauhaus, a quaint pub and restaurant in the heart of Halle’s old town.

Study Trip

To finish our conference, we invite you on a bus trip to Halle’s Weinberg Campus and the Leuna Chemical Site. The Weinberg Campus is one of the biggest science and technology parks in Germany, where you will meet young, innovative movers and shakers before they even become start-ups. We then proceed to Leuna’s astonishing chemical park.
